Connecting a custom domain to your client portal on monday.com perfects your clients user experience and pushes your portal to the next level. There are two easy steps involved in setting up your custom domain. Watch the video guide below to get a quick overview.
Domain settings
Update your domains DNS settings
First head over to your domain providers settings area. Open the DNS settings for your desired domain that should be connected to your client portal. Then add a new DNS setting of the CNAME record type. Choose a subdomain, for example www.domain.com or portal.domain.com which are both valid. For the target value simply copy and paste proxy.clientportalbuilder.com – save the settings, the update process might take up to an hour. In the meantime head over to the settings area of the Client Portal Builder.

Connect your domain in the builder settings
While the CNAME record is updated by your domain provider, you can already connect the chosen domain in the Client Portal Builder settings. For that just paste your domain in the Custom Domain box and click the Connect domain button. Now you just need to be patient until everything is being set up technically in the background. Once the domain is successfuly connected, you will see a label stating Connected.
