WorkForms on monday.com are a convenient way to let your clients easily interact with your monday.com boards. They can also be easily embedded into your client portal. Watch the video below to get a quick overview of the possibilities.

Option 1

Embed and display one monday.com WorkForm to all clients likewise

The first option lets you embed one common monday.com WorkForm that is displayed to all of your clients likewise. For this, first head over to your WorkForm board view and copy the form link. Then open the Client Portal Builder and create an Embed section on a page of your choice. Paste the monday.com WorkForm link to the URL textfield and adjust the height to your needs. Publish your client portal and your clients can access the embedded WorkForm.

Option 2

Embed and display separate monday.com WorkForms to each client individually

The second option lets you embed and display different monday.com WorkForms to each specific client. To get this done, you first want to add a Text column to your Clients Board and rename it to Form for example. Then you head over to each WorkForm board view, copy the form link and paste it one by one into the recently created Text column "Form" for each client.

Once you are done, head over to the Client Portal Builder and create an Embed section on a page of your choice. Instead of directly pasting the form link into the URL textfield as described in Option 1, the Placeholder feature comes into play. Open all available options by clicking the Placeholders button. Now look out for the text column with the description "Form", and copy the placeholder which should look like {{client.text__1}} – after closing the placeholder modal, paste it into the URL textfield. Now each client gets their specific WorkForm displayed in your client portal.
