December 2025

Dashboard with activity chart and event log

  • App dashboard reworked with new activity chart and event log added.
  • Onboarding reworked and optimized when adding the app for the first time.
  • Login methods can now be exported and imported by an account admin.

Improvements

  • Added better empty state and error descriptions on all sections.
  • Minor UI optimizations and fixes in the app and client portal.
  • Disabled Action Buttons in "Subitems of..." boards as intended.

Bugfixes

  • Fixed a bug when fetching folder data via the monday.com API.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented thumbnail image conversion in grids.
  • Fixed a bug in the browser frontend cache within the activity log.

November 2025

New section and formula column support

  • New Teaser section to link to external websites and internal portal pages.
  • Formula columns can now be used experimentally on board sections.
  • Clients can now toggle their password visibility on the login page.

Improvements

  • Added better use case based board source descriptions.
  • Added better empty state descriptions on board sections.
  • Added Chinese to the portal settings as language option.
  • Added quick links to jump to certain sections within a page.
  • Reworked the page section overview with better labels.

October 2025

New section and language localization

  • New Client Item section to display item columns from the clients board.
  • New workflow automation to trigger a password reset for a client.
  • Select from English, German, French and Spanish to translate the portal.
  • Select a page icon powered by Font Awesome displayed in the menu.
  • Write an optional welcome text, displayed on the login portal page.
  • Export and import client portal settings, e.g. to backup a configuration.

Improvements

  • Increased the performance when signing in to client portals.
  • Redesigned the client portal settings within the app.
  • Theme colors can now be reset to their default values.

Bugfixes

  • Fixed a bug on editable board grid item columns without a value.

  • Item Editing can now be optionally enabled on Board Grid sections as well.

Various improvements

  • User interface optimization in the different app views for smaller screens.
  • Trimming very long board item and column names for better accessibility.
  • Increased the file upload limit to 8 MB on Item Comments and Item Editing.
  • Fixed a bug on status default values with a color but without a set label.
  • Fixed a bug where client subitems weren't displayed correctly in the portal.

July 2025

Introducing Item Editing

  • Clients can now edit Status, Text, Long Text, Number and File columns on board tables.

Improvements

  • Readded quick acccess to add content sections to pages in the builder app.
  • Added a limited amount of login attempts per timeframe to enhance security.
  • Replaced the loading spinner with loading skeletons on board tables and grids.
  • Added a loading indicator to the portal when board items are fetched.

June 2025

Various improvements

  • Renamed "Accounts" to "Login Methods".
  • Improved Item Comments on mobile devices.
  • More explicit error messages in the client portal when a temporary outage occurs.

Introducing Item Comments

  • Interact with your clients through the new Item Comments feature.
  • Supports adding attachments to an Item Comment.
  • Item Comments are stored as Item Updates.
  • Trigger Automations when a client comments on an Item.
  • Supports private comments (not shared with the client).
  • New activity stream feature gives the client an overview of the latest Item Comments.

  • Optimized app UI for usage on smaller screens.
  • Some error messages are more descriptive now.

Quality of life improvements

New features

  • Discard the current working draft and reroll the builder status to the last published version.
  • Customize the column order manually on board sections to your needs.

  • Moved the "Delete page" button from the page settings to the page actions toolbar.
  • The uploaded logo is now also displayed on the login page.
  • The client portal name is now displayed in the HTML page title.

February 2025

Introducing Google accounts to login into portals

New features

  • Create a new account type that lets users sign in to your portal via Google authentication.
  • Optionally send an email to the user with their account details after creating an account.
  • Grant user accounts with credentials the ability to update their password within the portal.
  • Added a preview portal button to the item view for each client.

Improvements

  • Replaced the "Welcome back, John." message for the breadcrumb navigation.
  • Separated the theme settings from the general portal settings in the app.
  • Added new icons for pages, board sources and sections in the app.
  • Unused board sources can now be deleted directly from the sidebar.
  • Reworked the client boards area in the item view of each client.
  • Decreased margins on grid and table sections to display more information at a glance.
  • Decreased the global font size to display more information at a glance.
  • Added a button to toggle the sidebar to display more information horizontally.

Bugfixes

  • Fixed a bug that affected the performance even when mirror columns were hidden.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented multiple table sections with subitems on one page.

Introducing conditions for pages and sections

New features

  • Display pages and sections conditionally based on status columns of your clients board.
  • Column settings: Choose from different formatters for mirror and date columns.

Improvements

  • Status columns now have a "blank" status in the client portal.
  • Optimized the clicked state for actions buttons in the portal.
  • Improved loading performance when mirror columns are hidden.
  • Improved loading performance when navigating between client portal pages.
  • Preview mode performs better, the maximum clients to impersonate is limited to 20.
  • Added helpful links in the app UI to learn more about specific features from context.
  • Added the column type and the amount of uses to the placeholders table.
  • Minor visual optimizations on the in-app UI regarding board sections.

Bugfixes

  • Sometimes both automations were triggered when there were two action buttons.
