Removing a login method where the related client item was deleted and is not recoverable

If you want to remove an enabled login method where its client item was deleted before, and is not recoverable because 30 days have passed already, you want to take the following steps.

  1. Add a temporary Client Item with any name to your Clients Board.
  2. Open that temporary client item's Client Settings item view.
  3. Create a new login method with the same email and type.
  4. Tick Overwrite existing and save with any password.
  5. Now delete that login method from the temporary client item.
  6. Then delete the temporary client item itself from the board.

That fully removes the old login method from the portal settings even though the original record is gone. If you're not sure whether they used Credentials or Google Authentication, just repeat step 3 for both.
