Remove an orphaned client portal login method

Learn how to remove an orphaned login method from Client Portal Builder for monday.com when its original client item has already been permanently deleted.

1. Add a temporary Client Item with any name to your Clients Board.
2. Open that temporary client item's Client Settings item view.
3. Create a new login method with the same email and type.
4. Tick Overwrite existing and save with any password.
5. Now delete that login method from the temporary client item.
6. Then delete the temporary client item itself from the board.

That fully removes the old login method from the portal settings even though the original record is gone. If you're not sure whether they used Credentials or Google Authentication, just repeat step 3 for both.
